Official Rules & Terms of Participation

1. General Provisions

These Official Rules govern the participation in all photography competitions, open calls, and awards (collectively referred to as "Competitions") organized and hosted by VEMEN MAGAZINE, a platform operated by Invogue Media S.R.L. (hereinafter referred to as the "Organizer"), headquartered in Valea Călugărească, Prahova, Romania, Ursoii street 11. By submitting an entry to any Competition hosted on this platform, the entrant (hereinafter referred to as the "Participant") agrees to be bound by these Terms and Conditions.

2. Eligibility

• Competitions are open to photographers worldwide, both amateur and professional, provided they are at least 18 years of age at the time of entry.

• The Organizer reserves the right to verify the eligibility of any Participant and to disqualify anyone who does not comply with these Official Rules.

3. Copyright & Intellectual Property

VEMEN MAGAZINE respects the rights of artists. You retain full copyright of your work at all times.

• By submitting your photographs, you grant the Organizer a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use, reproduce, publish, and display the submitted images solely in connection with the Competition.

• This includes, but is not limited to: publishing the images on the VEMEN MAGAZINE website, sharing them on our official social media channels, and including them in promotional materials related to the specific competition or future calls.

• The Organizer will always provide proper credit to the photographer whenever the image is used.

• The Participant guarantees that they are the sole creator and copyright owner of the submitted work and that the images do not infringe upon the rights of any third party.

4. Judging Process and Criteria

All Competitions hosted by VEMEN MAGAZINE are strictly skill-based. Winners are selected based on artistic merit, not by chance.

• Submissions will be reviewed by our editorial team and/or an independent jury of industry professionals.

• The evaluation is based on the following criteria: Originality and Creative Vision, Visual Impact and Composition, Technical Execution, and Relevance to the Theme (if applicable).

• The decisions of the jury are final, binding, and cannot be contested.

5. Prizes and Selection

• Specific prizes, publication opportunities, and interview features will be detailed on the dedicated landing page of each Open Call.

• Currently, prizes consist of editorial exposure, interviews, and features. No cash alternatives will be offered.

• The Organizer reserves the right to feature not only the winning entry but also a curated selection of "Finalists" or "Honorable Mentions" at the jury's discretion.

6. Submission Guidelines

• Participants must follow the specific submission instructions detailed on each Competition's page (regarding image formatting, file naming, or portfolio links).

• The Organizer is not responsible for delayed, corrupted, or incompatible submissions.

• Submissions containing offensive, explicit, or inappropriate content will be immediately disqualified.

7. Privacy and Data Protection

The collection and processing of personal data (such as name, email address, and social media handles) are strictly used for the administration of the Competition and communicating with the Participants. All data is processed in accordance with the GDPR and our comprehensive Privacy Policy.

8. Right to Modify or Cancel

The Organizer reserves the right to modify, suspend, or cancel any Competition or extend deadlines in the event of unforeseen circumstances outside of its reasonable control, without incurring any liability.
